Local Voices is a project that students from Oblong's Community Transformers project ran in summer 2010. Scores of local people shared their feelings about the area - giving video interviews, creating maps of the area and writing poetry.

Oblong is in the process of seeking the transfer of Woodhouse Community Centre on a long term lease from Leeds City Council, so that we can run the centre. Earlier this summer we submitted a business plan for the centre and have now had an initial response from the Council.

We are currently in the process of collecting information and developing a response to this. We hope to have this completed in the next couple of weeks.

Oblong will be shut next Monday 31st May for Bank holiday
