Local Food Grant Progress.
Recently our application passed the first stage, and we were subsequently visited by a grant advisor from Local Food. She was impressed and enthusiastic about the bid and recommended that we extend the scheme over two years and to double the amount we applied for from 15K to 30K.
Pete and Joanna will be re drafting the bid.
Woodhouse Gardens Flora
Walked over the other day and was struck by the abundance and diversity of the wild plants there. I thought it may be useful to document this by photographing and identifying all the plants (with talk of seed bombing ,we could research compatibility/complimentary issues).
If any one wants to take this on, just holler, you can borrow the Oblong digital camera and of course you can do it when you want,it doesn't need to be a Wednesday afternoon.
