Community Transformers is a free 20 week course for people who want to take action to change their community

* Learn how to run community projects and campaigns.
* understand what's needed to make a real difference.
* Decide on an issue that's important to you.
* Take action by setting up a new project with the other people on the course.
* You don't need any previous experience or qualifications.
* You do need to want to make a difference by taking action.

Community Transformers will show how to take action and get results.

The 20 half-day sessions will be run at Woodhouse Community Centre and start on 4th May 2010, The course is aimed at people in Woodhouse, Little London, Hyde Park, Chapeltown, and Harehills. Participants will have the chance to get a qualification (OCN Certificate in Community Development - level 2). Applications must be in by Wednesday 7th April 2010.
