Our Activities

Oblong provides a range of activities and projects. These are mainly provided by volunteers supported by our staff. These include:

Food Co-operative

Cheap and healthy vegetable boxes in the heart of Woodhouse. Order a £5 box and pick it up the next week.

Media Collective

Providing graphic, video and web production services for Oblong and other voluntary sector organisations.

Active Citizens Programme

A global citizenship programme that has already run in over 30 countries with 80,000 people. Active Citizens is a personal and community development programme that aims to empower you with the skills and confidence to make the social change that you want to see in your community. Gardening Collective

Developing and maintaining local community gardens

English for speakers of other languages

Informal English classes for speakers of other languages. Every Thursday 10.30 - 12.30. Intermediate level, free of charge.

Head Space

A free seven week course about looking after your mental well-being. Improve your confidence, self-esteem, and ability to handle stress. Courses available in different venues in Leeds. Contact duncan@oblong.org.uk for more details.

Room and Office Hire at the Woodhouse Community Centre
